Jay Lurie is Chief Investment Officer at DC Green Bank, where he leads the Investment team on origination, structuring, and executing financial products, serving as the key counterpart to project sponsors and financial partners. In addition, Jay spearheads the capital funding program and overall portfolio management. Jay joined DC Green Bank in October 2020 following 11 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. At IFC, he developed, financed, and mobilized institutional capital for sustainable infrastructure projects in the energy, water, and transport sectors across Latin America, Asia, and Europe. His experience at IFC, and previously at Macquarie Capital and Credit Suisse, includes equity, debt, and mezzanine financing, bond underwriting, and PPP advisory to government ministries. Jay is a CFA Charterholder and has a Master of Arts in Economics and International Development from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
